Summer times!

Hello! It has been a couple weeks since we have updated you. We have been busy, which is good, visiting with friends and family. Here are lots of pictures for you to see.

This is Ben Musser, David's friend from Vandi. He was in town on tour- a very talented artist. You really should check out his album- it is good stuff... http://www.myspace.com/benyaro
My friend Ericka, her husband Ralfa, and their daughter Ava were in town from Fl. It was so nice to catch up and see what is in store for Taylor when she is four months!
Katy came in town to visit us for the first time as Mrs. Katy Harrison! Our sorority sister from KWC, Mandy and her son Johna, had lunch with us too. We had a four hour lunch. I bet you can't believe we had that much to talk about! Miss Taylor was Baptized on 7/19/08. Here is our family with God parents Lauren and Jon. Overall she did well. She cried until Father Jeff poured water on her little head. She just needed some Jesus in her and then she was great! (It was also Father Jeff's bday- a special day for all!)
We had a little cookout for friends and family afterwards to celebrate Miss Taylor. There were lots of kids- which I guess we should get use too. It was kind of funny though to have so many little ones running around. Things sure have changed in two years.

Sweet little girl taking a nap

Sorry UK fans- this girl is all UL! She wore this to her first Louisville Bats baseball game.
And here she is on her 2 month birthday. She loves her Dad! Isn't she the cutest baby you've ever seen???
Well- as you can seen we have had lots of company in the last few weeks but it has been lots of fun. Taylor continues to grow. She is smiling more and has found her mouth. I catch her with her hands in her mouth every now and then. She is awake more these days which is fun for us. Her Doctor reports she is healthy and she has survived her 2 month shots.
That's all for now- we wish you guys a great week and we will talk to you soon!!!

Some more pics

More from the Schulte World...

We have been very busy in the past few weeks. We are doing well, staying busy and enjoying our summer days. Taylor is 7 weeks now and showing more personality. She is so wonderful and we are taken away at times of how special she is to us. We love her more everyday and get so excited about the little things she is able to do. She is a good eater and sleeper. She takes after her Dad and is sleeping 6 hours (on average) at night. We are very lucky. She is still little- weighing in about 8lbs. She is almost out of her new born clothes! I finally came to the decision to stay at home with Taylor full time. I know this is a good move for our family but it was bitter sweet to leave all my friends and clients at work. I will stay involved with Brooklawn on a volunteer basis which will be nice for me. (Oh- and if you are wondering how cloth diapers are going... so far so good!)

Do you think she will be a Daddy's girl???
Taylor finally got to meet Aunt Blakely, Uncle Tommy, and her cousin Jane. For all of you who don't know yet, Taylor's Aunt and Uncle are expecting again in September. We don't know what the baby is yet- but my guess is a boy! At first, Jane was not so happy about her Mom and Dad holding baby Taylor but by the end of our visit she was okay with baby Taylor and gave her sweet kisses! Please keep the Kute family in your thoughts and prayers. They will be very busy parents with two little ones but most importantly we want a healthy baby!

The Kute Family!
Sweet Jane!
Happy 4th of July! We were invited to spend Friday night on the Captain's Quarters boat to watch the fire works. It was our second date away from Taylor. Gramma and Grandaddy Schulte watched her for us. It was nice to be baby free for a couple hours... Here we are on the boat and a picture of our beautiful city all lit up!
Our cousin in Bowling Green was appointed to Chief Justice of the KY Supreme Court. http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008806280457 Check out the article about him. What a great honor.

Well- that is all for now. We hope you and your family are doing well. Please feel free to email us and let us know how you are doing. Our emails are meganeschulte@hotmail.com and davidaschulte@hotmail.com ... Until the next post- have a great week!
