It's been a long time...

Time has gone by since our last entry. Taylor has turned 9 months since our last blog and is getting into more and more things. Her Doctor reports she is proportional... which is good. She weighs about 18.5 lbs and is pretty much in the 50th percentile. We are mostly glad to report she is healthy! Enjoy some pictures of our most precious little baby!!!
Happy Mardi Gras and Happy Lent! Some of our best friends, Tommy and Blakely, celebrate Mardi Gras every year. This year, they sent Taylor some goodies to celebrate. Bailey was jealous as always... and yes- I'm setting a bad example letting her wear the beads with no clothes on vs. no shirt!

We helped surprise my best friend from college, Katy, for her birthday. (She has already corrected me for telling people what year it is for her... so lets just say we celebrated an important birthday!) We had a great time with Katy and, her husband, Jason. We also left Taylor in Louisville over night for the first time. It was nice for us to be baby free.
Katy's first and last birthday shot!

You may not have know this- but David, Katy, and I are in a rock band.

We are ROCK STARS!

Bath time is lots of fun!

We lowered Taylor's crib and Bailey loves it because she now has easier access to lick Taylor. Taylor also loves to pet Bailey- they are best buds...
And here are some of her tricks...

Taylor is everywhere...

She loves to crawl through things...

And she pulls up on everything...

And she hates the baby gates as much as we do...

Bailey is hoping for warmer weather soon- she loves to sun bathe...

David took this picture of the sunset on the Ohio...

We wish you a wonderful weekend. Take Care and we hope warm weather finds you soon! ~Megan, David, Taylor, and Bailey

The snow and ice storm

While I'm writing about our snow storm we had last week, it is currently 53 degrees at 7:55am. Ironic...

How glad we are that the snow and ice are finally melting. We were very lucky and never lost power throughout the storm. We did have David's parents, and their dog Baxter, stay with us for a day until their power was restored. Here are some fun pictures of the dogs playing. And yes- I regret to tell you we did not put Taylor in the snow. She was out and about in the snow with us but we did not snap a picture with her in the snow. We will try harder next year!

This tree fell in the middle of our street and was left for several days. It totaled a car and took out or neighbor's power- just two house from our home.

Here are those wild and crazy dogs...

She climbs on everything!

We are doing well and Taylor is growing fast. She will be 9 months on the 16th. Her personality comes out more everyday and she is such a joy. We sometimes surprise ourselves that we are pretty good at this parent thing. David and I work well together. He is staying very busy at work (which is great in our economy) and I truly enjoy staying home with Taylor. We really have so much fun together!
We wish you a great week and hope you are doing well. Take Care! ~Megan, David, Taylor, and Bailey
