Good Morning...

Well~ This morning has been much better than yesterday morning. Miss Taylor moved into her own room last night and Mom and Dad slept much better. Taylor has acquired various noises that were keeping us awake at night. The lack of sleep officially caught up with us yesterday. We have to be careful because Dad MUST stay awake at work- that is very important! We have had breakfast and a bath this morning and now she is sleeping again. Here is a picture of her in her favorite Papasan seat with her new outfit from Gramma (Schulte). Happy Friday- we wish you a great weekend!

So much to Celebrate!

We celebrated our second anniversary yesterday and went to dinner without Taylor for the first time. We have to admit it was nice to be with eachother and have a little break from baby. We had the best babysitters in town... Aunt Lauren adn Anut Ashley took very good care of our little girl and let us enjoy a nice dinner together. They are the best!

Taylor's 1 week birthday!

Miss Taylor is one week old today!
Hello! This entry is from Megan... updating you on what the girls have been up too! Miss thing is eating very well if anyone had any concerns. It is all we do these days is eat! After her appointment yesterday she weighed in 6 lbs. and 1 oz! She is packing on the "ounces"!
I think my hormones are almost back to normal. Since Tuesday- I have been on an emotional roller coaster crying for any odd reason and not being very nice. Could this have something to do with the lack of sleep I am getting? David is being so wonderful and is such a great Dad and husband. Although his sleeping schedule has changed a bit as well- he is not crying like me and somehow keeps it together with little sleep and working all day. We are so lucky to have a Hubby/Dad like David!
We have been overwhelmed by the wonderful people in our lives bringing us dinner, taking us to appointments, and taking care of us. We are so blessed- there is no question. So enjoy the two new pictures I have posted. Please continue to keep us in your prayers and thoughts and know we are thinking of you. I think in a few weeks- we will truly understand more about this new journey we are on. Take Care!

Here are more pictures of our little girl.
Eat 'em up people!

What a happy little family!

Who can do the Taylor face better?

Bailey is interested, confused, and protective all at the same time.

Taylor has adjusted to life at home pretty well. She sleeps all through the night...when she's wrapped up tight in her burrito. She eating well and hopefully putting on some of the weight she lost after she was born. She made a trip to the Doctor for her first checkup this morning too.
More updates to come!

Taylor Evans Schulte

Taylor Has Arrived!!!

Our little bundle of joy arrived rather quickly this morning. Her official arrival time was Friday May 16, 2008 @ 10:13 AM. She was 6lbs 6 ozs and 18.5inches long.

This little lady was definitely ready to make her appearance, as she needed only 13 minutes of pushing by Mom before she torpedoed herself out.

Welcoming her into the world was her amazingly well composed Mother

And her extremely emotional and mushy Father...

...this guy is going to be putty in her hands if he doesn't get himself together.

The little cutie has a head full of curly dark hair and dark brown eyes. Her trip down the birth canal left her a little flustered and slightly squishy.

But as any proper lady would, she quickly composed herself and showed everyone how pretty she really is.

So far she has been enjoying her first day out on her own. She took her first trip to the nursery salon and was given a bath and a restful afternoon under a heating lamp. After that she had a late lunch with Mom, a very helpful nurse, and a helpless Dad. She is now sleeping well in Mom and Dad's recovery suite all wrapped up in her burrito blankets and doing her best glow worm impression.
Taylor, Mom, and Dad want to thank everyone for all of their prayers, support, and love over the past 9+ months. None of them would have made it without that help. Our little girl love to be cuddled and especially likes it when you whisper her sweet nothings in her ear...she may even whisper them back! We love all of you and can't wait for you to meet little Taylor.

She's on her way...

Hello All! We are updating as promised and wanted to fill you in on what is new this week with baby. At the Doctors today we learned baby is almost ready to meet us. She is weighing in this week at 6 lbs. 10ozs. She is a growing girl! The Doctor advised us to spend some time together while our home is still quiet- so that is what we will be doing. We will keep you posted!

Here comes Baby!

It has been several weeks since we have posted a blog so we figured it was time to post some pictures before baby comes. Here are pictures of her room- pretty in pink- and a picture of Megan's tummy. We are patiently awaiting the arrival of our daughter. Our Doctor says she is one healthy baby, weighing in at 5 lbs. 12 oz. so far... We have a little less than four weeks left! Please keep our family in your prayers.
