Taylor Has Arrived!!!

Our little bundle of joy arrived rather quickly this morning. Her official arrival time was Friday May 16, 2008 @ 10:13 AM. She was 6lbs 6 ozs and 18.5inches long.

This little lady was definitely ready to make her appearance, as she needed only 13 minutes of pushing by Mom before she torpedoed herself out.

Welcoming her into the world was her amazingly well composed Mother

And her extremely emotional and mushy Father...

...this guy is going to be putty in her hands if he doesn't get himself together.

The little cutie has a head full of curly dark hair and dark brown eyes. Her trip down the birth canal left her a little flustered and slightly squishy.

But as any proper lady would, she quickly composed herself and showed everyone how pretty she really is.

So far she has been enjoying her first day out on her own. She took her first trip to the nursery salon and was given a bath and a restful afternoon under a heating lamp. After that she had a late lunch with Mom, a very helpful nurse, and a helpless Dad. She is now sleeping well in Mom and Dad's recovery suite all wrapped up in her burrito blankets and doing her best glow worm impression.

Taylor, Mom, and Dad want to thank everyone for all of their prayers, support, and love over the past 9+ months. None of them would have made it without that help. Our little girl love to be cuddled and especially likes it when you whisper her sweet nothings in her ear...she may even whisper them back! We love all of you and can't wait for you to meet little Taylor.
