Birthdays and Summer!

Hello!  I hope you are doing well.  We have had a good start to our summer and we are enjoying lots of free time!  Here are some photos of what we've been up to.  Taylor had her 6th birthday! Molly had her 1st birthday!  David and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary!

Taylor is SIX!  She will start first grade in August and we have switched her school.  She was at Dunn Elementary in our neighborhood and she had a great kindergarten year.  She will actually start first grade at Lincoln Elementary School which is now a magnet school for performing arts.  The students receive one day of ballet a week, piano, composing music, drama, and zumba!  I think she'll flourish:)

She has friends over and they whisper and giggle.  She has sleepovers and dance parties!

Molly's First Birthday!

Now- please excuse the next few pictures.  I'm a little obsessed with Molly:)

Best Friends...

Hey!  I want back in that bath tub!

Hello?  Hello?

I like to climb EVERYWHERE I CAN!

Her first Oreo:)

Her buddy Simon!

AHHH sigh... These last two month I have 3 great ladies move to new towns.  We all met at the YMCA and it was a pleasure to spend a short time with them.  Believe it or not- two sweet gals in this picture have triplets and each an older kiddo too!  They... are... amazing!  Flora, in yellow, and Ashleigh, in pink, are the ladies we will all miss.  I wish them only the best on their next journey!

And this Ashley- she is one sweet person.  She taught our cardio classes for the last several years.  She will be missed!

Here is my college, Kentucky Wesleyan, where I serve on the Alumni Board.  I have really enjoyed being connected to my college in a new way.

This is how Ben rolls on family movie night!

Playing with cousins!

In the beginning of June the world lost a great Lady.  Aunt Frances, my Dad's Aunt, passed away at 101 years old.  Our family traveled to Pittsburgh for her funeral and it was pretty special.  We went to a Pirates game, which I failed to get pictures of, and we took the Pittsburgh Incline too.  We were also able to spend time with Bailey and Kathy Bland, Dad's Cousins from North Carolina.

Here is our van- loaded down with lots of precious cargo!  David was our Captain and the rest of us took turns as co captain.

He he!  They were fighting over something- just can't remember what!

Our view from the incline...
We didn't check the weather and spent too much time eating on the river!

Tough days of Summer!
