Lots of football, the beach, and time with Ben!

Here are some fun pictures from our last couple weeks.  I feel our busy schedule is slowing down somewhat which is nice!  It seems that we are all busier theswe days and sometimes, it's just nice to slow down and hang out.  We are trying to do more of that this coming month!

Taylor's first UofL football game of the season!  My Dad, Taylor, and I went to the second home game of the season.  David had an important fantasy football draft in Lexington the same night and my Dad glady went in his place.  We had a great time!  Taylor did a fabulous job and enjoyed cheering for the Cardinal bird, the dances, and the cheerleaders. She did ask questions about where the ball was and while the boys are fighting!

The Cardnial Bird flew in onto the field.  Taylor loved it!

And then we drove to the beach- 2 adults, 2 kids three and under, and lots of stuff!  So- we tried to make the best of it.  We packed lunch and stopped at rest stops to eat and run around and we stopped at cool things like this rooster that is at a gas station on I65S.

And onto the beach!  These sweet babes had a great time!

 Ahhh... my happy place...
When things get bad, stressful, or sad- here is where I'll be in my mind.

Gramma and Grandaddy enjoying the waves

Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Mike met us at the beach for a couple days.  We had a great time visiting with them and Aunt Carolyn enjoyed spoiling them... insert HUGE lollipops!

Are these the most beautiful kiddos or what???

This is the best family picture we could get- but... at least we're all in it!

David and I also got a date night while we were at the beach.  We drove to Red Bar on Grayton Beach and had a great meal and walked the beach.  Can't beat that for a date night!

 The beach was hard work!

After the beach we headed to Owensboro, KY for Kentucky Wesleyan's homecoming!
So onto more fotball!
Because most family pictures look like this!

Go Panthers!

Mark Jr. came into this past weekend for his 15th high school reunion.  He got to tailgate with us and we had a great time hanging out.  We missed Shannon though!

And this is how we roll in the mini van!
Go Cards!

Ashley and me!  Ashely- where is your red???

Does this warm your heart or what???

Ben helped me give Bailey a bath!

Ben also went with me to get an oil change.  There was a great buldozer to watch while we waited.

And we got to see a train- we had a great day together!

Have a wonderful week and take care!
~Megan!
