What we have been up to lately... 
Lunch with Dad... David found a coffee/ sandwich place close to his office that has a kids corner. It was a hit with Taylor!
With our kitchen still being renovated we are eating out a lot. We took Taylor to hibachi grill and she was pretty impressed with the fish! 
And here is our kitchen with the new floor. In a couple days the island will be added in the middle, the cabinets will be leveled, and the appliances will be installed!
We went ahead and had the living room and dining room stained to match the kitchen. They were stained darker than before and we are very pleased.
Here is the difference...
While the floors were being sanded we escaped to St. Louis and Owensboro to visit friends and family. While we were in St. Louis- it was a perfect time for Taylor to get her birthday present from her cousins (who have also moved homes in the last several months.) What a great gift! Uncle Mark even put it together for her so she could play with it at his house!

So we have been trying to make the most of our messy house. We are settled in more and enjoying our new home. We are slowly but surely making it our home! We hope you are doing well and hope to see you soon!
