First and for most some of our best friends have moved back!!!

This is Tommy and
Blakely who have recently moved back to town after spending three years in Birmingham while
Blakely finished her residency in internal medicine. They are now calling St. Matthews their new home! Tommy and
Blakely... WELCOME HOME! I'm pretty sure this picture was taken before they had their oldest daughter, Jane, and before David and I were even engaged but I thought it was a good one! These were the days of going out and staying out. Now, we'd rather just sit in a quiet living room after our kids go to bed and drink beer from our refrigerates. My how time has changed... for the better!

We go to Farmer Markets for their strawberries and music! This is our dancing machine with our neighbor Henry!

We go to lots of birthday parties! This was
Kilbourne's #2 and Taylor holding her own with our old South
Bayly neighbors! We had so much fun being with our old neighbors- we miss them!

At another birthday party she had cotton candy for the first time. She didn't like it as much as the snow cone. I pass this off to be a texture thing with the cotton candy- plus it was SO HOT at this party- a snow cone was a must!

And yes... there were pony rides! This was the first attempt to get her to ride the pony...

And by the 5
th attempt to get her to ride- she finally did it. It was after the last call was made to ride the pony when she decided she couldn't pass this moment up. I guess she needed something to tell her friends the next day!

And we swim some more. I've decided the best way to do summer is to stay in the water. It's HOT! These are the Daddy's and our friend Brooklyn!
Here we are swimming at Henry's. (We're thinking of an arranged marriage!) We took down a piece of our fence so we can share our back yards. Bailey loves to play with their two dogs so this was a win- win situation!

And this is how Ben does summer most of the time!

Ashley, another one of our best friends, works at Republic Bank and gets tickets to lots of great things around town. If you remember she got us tickets to the Derby Parade too! She loves the Beatles and every Memorial weekend we have Abbey Road on the River. Tons of bands who cover Beatles music come to town and play the entire weekend. Ashley took us to the river and we danced and danced... The kids loved it!

Taylor dancing by the river!

More dancing with shades, compliments of Logan (Ashley's beau!)

He can't get enough of his toes!
We'll have more to share later! Happy summer and say warm! ~Megan
