Enjoying summer!

Well, this is a long one. To make a long story short... I lost my camera. We hope you are doing well!
Who's ready for football season? May I introduce U of L's newest head football coach, Charlie Strong!!! He says things look good and although he can't promise a win against UK in our first home game... he promises a good fight!
David's buddy from college (Ben on right) came through Louisville last month to play a gig downtown. These guys make up Benyaro. They always have good music to share!

And the next day, Ben gave Taylor a personal concert...

We've been going to the track together since our sophomore year in high school.

The track had a Western theme this night. Tommy thought it was stupid but after a few drinks appeased us and wore my hat for a picture. David on the other hand thought his sombrero was western... we still don't understand!

The hosts of what may be an annual 4th of July Party!

The Chugh Family!

Enjoying our deck!

Leigh with her ladies...

Lauren with some of her adopted Nieces and Nephew

Taylor not getting her way I'm sure... and her good friend Avani trying to console her...

We couldn't leave Bailey out of the fun!

Our awesome neighbors, The Neumanns, (aka "Henry's parents") after cold drinks and good eats.

The beginning of the parade. The neighborhood goes all out! There was even a small brass band at the end for the kids to dance too. Taylor loved it!
Taylor's favorite... "Fire tucks"

Ahh, sweet rewards for walking the parade (down two streets!) Henry and Taylor eating cookies at the end of the parade.

Last Friday we went to the Visually Impaired Preschool here in Louisville. Every Friday in the summer they have a short program so the kids can see the preschool and play. The introduced us to their sensory room and computer room which Taylor thought was pretty cool! Gramma came along which was a big help!

On our way to the lake with our friends Mary and Noah....
Ben WAS sleeping peacefully and the car was quiet... until Taylor shouted, "Ben, WAKE UP!" He jumped and his eyes got really big and she thought it was hilarious... He then proceeded to cry for 45 minutes. Thanks big sister... yours is coming to you soon...

Taylor, Eli, and Hannah having yummy Popsicles!

The babies on the dock fighting over Caroline! Ben (far right) looks small- but he's a feisty guy! Unfortunately, I didn't get too many pictures at the lake. We had a nice time enjoying the weather and the view from the house.
We've been busy and we know you have too! We have been having fun though and enjoying life. We are off to the beach in a couple weeks and will post more pictures then. We hope you all are having a safe a wonderful summer. Here's until next time...
~Megan!
